  After trying to schedule an oil change with Mercedes of Westminster for over 3 weeks with zero return calls, I gave up and reached out to Star Tech for an oil change on my 2016 Metris van. I figured they wouldn't be thrilled to just do an oil change on a new, under warranty vehicle that wouldn't need much more, but much to my surprise they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. They weren't totally familiar with my unpopular vehicle, so they had to call me back to make sure they'd have the right filter in. I wouldn't have been surprised if I had to call them, but to my surprise Sandor called me TWICE to follow up after I missed his first call.
  
  I asked him if he had the price and he said he'd have to write it up and call me back. Being the end of the day on a busy Monday I told him not to worry about it and that I was sure their price would be reasonable, but he just about insisted. Finally, I convinced him that it was fine and he didn't need to call me back, but this sort of insistence at providing answers told me that this was a man who prided himself on customer service.
  
  On the service day I arrived at 8am when they opened and my van was in the shop by 8:10. I couldn't believe it. Everywhere else I've been I watch my vehicle sit for at least 45 minutes before work starts. When the oil change was done Sandor recommended rotating the tires, which I knew were wearing oddly, but I figured the truck was already off the lift and tying up a lift for a simple rotation wouldn't make financial sense for them. Again Sandor insisted it was not a problem at all to get it back on the lift, so we went ahead with the rotation. Overall I was really impressed with their commitment to service and the business this family has built. Every longtime customer who came in seemed to be a part of the family and I know I'll be back and sending everyone I can with a Mercedes their way.
