  AVOID Departures and Arrivals at the Denver Station, ESPECIALLY If you're traveling 1st class/Sleeper car, or if you Require Special Needs. THIS station WON'T provide you with Directions for where you need to go, Red Caps, Rides to and from the train/waiting room/baggage claim if you have difficulty walking, or 1st class accomodations. THIS STATION SUCKS! If you're Passing through denver, CO and Not Getting Off the Train, you're fine. I'd advise anyone going to denver to get off their train at an earlier Amtrak station and then commute by another mode of transportation to the Denver area to AVOID This denver amtrak station. Accommodating Amtrak Passengers is NOT This station's goal nor priority. This station is more concerned with having bars, restaurants, stores, markets, ice cream parlors, and hotels for the local residents than accomodating traveling Amtrak Passengers. The actual function of an Amtrak station is lost on this particular train station. It would be better off actually, if there were Only Amtrak train Platforms instead of an Amtrak station in denver. At least you would not expect anything.
