  I was scheduled to have a vasectomy with Denver Health Urology. After waiting MONTHS to get in, the day finally arrived that I would have the procedure done. Once I was taken to the doctors office I was asked if I felt nervous and I told them that I was. Who wouldn't be nervous? I told the doctor that I was 100% sure that I didn't want another child. I told him that I could barely afford the child I have. It wasn't the fact that I was unsure of being sterile that made me nervous. What made me nervous was the fact that there is a high percentage of complications that can occur after vasectomies. I was looking for some reassurance and facts that these complications were treatable yet I was met with a lecture about how I'm too young at 26 to make up my mind. I repeated to this so-called urologist three times that I was sure I didn't want another child yet we went in circles. This guy started giving me lectures about how I could fall in love in five years and I'll want a kid when that happens. Meanwhile I'm trying to tell this ******* that I've been sure for a few years that I don't want another child. I'm on Medicaid for crying out loud what does this dude think I am capable of if I have another child? My girlfriend takes birth control that makes her sick. Not to mention birth control isn't always effective. He wouldn't hear it and he made me feel extremely uncomfortable. So uncomfortable that I'm now seeking out another urology clinic for this operation. Whoever he was you could see deep down that he was not a good person. He should be ashamed of himself as human as well as a doctor.

  Was refered to this clinic by my primary doctor for a procedure. There were constantly papers that needed to be signed, and 2 monthes later, i finally get a call back to tell me that there is one mire paper that needs my signature and i need to make an appointment to come and sign it. Jessie on the front desk was very rude when i told her that i cant come in today and that i would stop by tomorrow since it is only a peper to sign. Jessie was very rude and said that she will not schedule me at all and that she will tell the security if i come!!! Not sure what happened. They also said that a consultation can be scheduled at least 30 days in advance.... it does not seem like they are in a service business at all, they do not want to accomodate at all, and on top of everything very rude for no reason. Called back and left a message for the manager..... still waiting for a call back. Extremely unprofessional, i would not be comfortable to receive any care from this practice.
